May My Spirit Yield – Morning Prayer in Ordinary Time

We are in a summer giving campaign! Would you sow towards the ministry of Morning Prayer? It’s Friday of Ordinary Time, Proper 8 in the Church Calendar. July 7, 2023. This week we are following the Daily Office lectionary with an episode Monday through Friday. Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing “As the Deer” by Martin Nystrom including a prayer of confession. We’ll read Psalms 140 and 142 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Scripture lesson is Acts 9:1-9 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day. We’ll then have a time of prompted prayer. If you have a prayer request please submit it here.
