Mayfields Move to Madeira + Ireland & Grow Remote w/ Darcy Boles

Many people know Darcy Boles because of her leadership experiences at places like AirBnb, TaxJar, and Stripe, which led to her becoming one of the world’s top voices on building remote team culture. But today Darcy joins the show to chat about her upcoming move from the US to Madeira! Moving to Portugal has been a life-long dream for Darcy, and after spending their honeymoon scouting out potential destinations, she and her husband decided Madeira was set to be their new home. In this episode we dive into all the details, from the origins of this dreamlife, to the reasons they chose Madeira, and all the steps they’re taking to make a life abroad a reality. We also chat about our recent experience together at the Grow Remote Summit in Ireland, and our shared impressions of the Emerald Isle. Follow Darcy's work at https://www.shiftwithdarcymarie.com.
