Mayor Hannah Fitzhardinge on the retirn of Heady Days For Fremantle -Graeme Kemlo

Fremantle is the port city for Perth and one of the busiest in Australia, a far cry from the sleepy town that fired up in the mid ]80s when Alan Bond had won the |America’s Cup and Freo was chosen as the place from which to defend against a brace of international challengers. Graeme Kemlo was fortunate to have been there working with Data General and the Bond team and he especially noticed the difference in Fremantle today with more than $2 billion spent on infrastructure developments. He spoke earlier to the city’s major Hannah Fitzhardinge about the emergence of Fremantle with its rich maritime history , entrepreneurial spirit and culinary scene.
