Mayor Ted Terry (from Queer Eye!) for US Senate

from Culture Changers with Allison Hare · host Allison Hare

if you’ve been listening to this podcast for a while, you’ll probably realized I am obsessed with how leaders move a community...and in particular, political figures. Today’s guest is Ted Terry, mayor of Clarkston Ga and he is running for US Senate representing Georgia. If you recognize the name, yep, he’s the guy who was on Queer Eye and has made bold and progressive changes in his city of Clarkston and is bringing his unapologetic vision for a greater future to his candidacy.  Personally, I think whether you care about politics or not, if anything about society pisses you off, you really do have the power to change it - and local politics is where your voice carries the most weight. I was so grateful to have Mayor Ted on my show to help explain more about how the process works, his approach to change, and I thought his guidance on how WE can make the most impact was spot on.
