MBDS Showcase #52 - Videodrome

from MBDS Showcase · host Elwood Jones

Nick Rehak (French Toast Sunday) joins me to look at the David Cronenberg's cult classic Videodrome. Here body horror blends with our love of technology into one nightmarish vision as Max Renn (James Woods) stumbles across a rogue tv stream called Videodrome which he feels will be perfect for his trashy TV channel only to soon find himself drawn into a much darker path as he uncovers the secrets behind Videodrome. We also look at visionary directors, David Lynch and the return of Twin Peaks and how streaming services are changing our cinematic consumption plus much more.
