McBee Sr. Back Home After Prison | St. Louis News

Steve McBee Sr., the farmer from “The McBee Dynasty,” just walked out of federal prison after serving two years for a massive crop insurance fraud scheme that cost taxpayers over $3 million. He admitted to falsifying crop reports between 2018 and 2020, leading to his guilty plea in 2024 and a $4 million restitution order. Released Friday, he returned to his Missouri farm — complete with a new office and lodge prepped by his son — and even celebrated with an Instagram video blasting “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” Meanwhile, the show’s third season dropped in June, openly covering his legal troubles alongside family drama and business struggles.
