Metropolitan Community College just wrapped up 55 free STEM camps this summer, giving kids hands-on experience in robotics, coding, and engineering — from Lego builds for younger students to advanced programming for teens. Designed to keep young minds engaged over break and prep them for school, these camps also help demystify STEM subjects and spark career discoveries. Instructor Riley Prucha, an electrical engineering student, says early exposure makes these fields less intimidating. Thanks to grants, MCC will keep offering free STEM programs through February — so more students can dive in and build their future.
