McDonald's Scuffle Sparks Community Outcry | Miami News

A chaotic brawl erupted outside a McDonald’s in Dania Beach on August 21 after an adult allegedly threatened kids inside — sparking a violent confrontation when he stepped out. Witnesses say up to 15 teens swarmed him, stole his food, and beat him until bystanders intervened. The man fled before police arrived, leaving investigators scrambling to piece together what was said and whether it justified the assault. Though no one was injured, school officials confirmed some students were involved and are working with authorities to ensure safety — even though the incident occurred off campus. Community members are calling for more police presence, fearing similar outbreaks could spiral out of control without intervention.
