McMillen Out for Season | Illinois Fighting Illini Football News

Illinois football takes another hit as senior OL TJ McMillen goes out for the season after fracturing his foot against Duke — a devastating blow for a line already struggling with injuries. McMillen, who earned his first start and performed admirably before the injury, now faces a setback with two years of eligibility left. His absence not only impacts the offensive line’s depth but also removes a key punt-snapping and blocking force. The coaching staff praised his effort and resilience, while the team looks to other injured players like Henderson and Matelua for potential returns — but for now, uncertainty looms on the offensive front.
