Elona Markaj ka lindur dhe është rritur në një fshat të Kukësit deri në moshën 10-vjeçare. Më pas, familja e saj u zhvendos në kryeqytetin plot me gjallëri të Shqipërisë, Tiranë. Me tre motra dhe tre vëllezër, Elona është një nga shtatë fëmijët e kësaj familjeje të mrekullueshme. Në moshën 17-vjeçare, Elona zbuloi një lidhje të thellë me kishën e Jezu Krishtit të Shenjtorëve të Ditëve të Mëvonshme, një përvojë që i ndryshoi jetën. Pas dy vitesh ajo u pagëzua dhe u bë një besimtare e devotshme. Elona ka shtatë vite qe jeton në Gjermani, ku ndjek studimet dhe punon me pasion për të arritur diplomën në një degë që e mbush me entuziazëm për të ardhmen. Elona ka një vajzë shtatë vjeçare, të cilën e përshkruan si fëmijën më të ëmbël në botë. Me shpirt aventurier dhe zemër plot kureshtje, Elona shijon leximin, eksplorimin me biçikletë dhe të mësuarit e gjërave të reja. Elona Markaj was born and grew up in a village in Kukes until the age of 10. Afterward, her family moved to Albania's bustling capital, Tirana. With three sisters and three brothers, Elona is one of seven children in this wonderful family. At the age of 17, Elona discovered a deep connection with the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, an experience that changed her life. After two years she was baptized and became a devout believer. Elona has been living in Germany for seven years, where she studies and works with passion to get her degree in a field that fills her with enthusiasm for the future. Elona has a seven-year-old daughter, whom she describes as the sweetest child in the world. With an adventurous spirit and a curious heart, Elona enjoys reading, exploring by bike, and learning new things. Her life is an exciting journey, full of challenges and beautiful achievements, the basis of which is her inspiring faith.
