Mean Green Test Themselves Early | North Texas Mean Green Basketball News

The UNT men’s basketball team is diving headfirst into a brutal non-conference slate for the 2026-27 season, facing 13 games before conference play — including three NCAA Tournament teams and two NIT contenders. They open at home with four straight matchups against postseason squads like McNeese and Santa Clara, then hit the road for tough tests against App State and a stacked Snake River Invitational featuring Boise State and Drake. The final stretch includes neutral-site action at Dickies Arena and a home finale against Winthrop and Bethune-Cookman. This isn’t a warm-up — it’s a gauntlet designed to test their mettle early.
