One of the silver linings about this pandemic that continues to give me joy is reconnecting with old friends, in this case, another classmate of mine from my days in journalism school. Lee Zanello is "good people" - he has a heart that shines big! He's thoughtful and warm and just a pleasure to connect with. He's spent the last 17 years with a travel company here in Canada, and as you can imagine, the last year has not been pretty for him, or his colleagues with global travel at an all-time low. While we've remained in touch from a distance, I wanted to connect with him and see how he was doing. I hope you enjoy this conversation, as we explore what joy looks like to him. We talk about the need for boundaries and intentional curating of our social media and news so that we stay informed and don't surround ourselves with too many negative people and ideas.
