Meaningful Life Teaser
from St. Peter's Helenville Hosted by Pastor Titus
Greetings members, friends, and neighbors of St. Peter's! Our St. Peter's school year has started which means there are kids everywhere! It also means that we are moving back into our fall schedule up at church as well. Here are some exciting things this means starting this Sunday: STARTING POINT - Our membership class, Adult Catechism class, & Christian Worldview Study all in one - BEGINS THIS SUNDAY! Starting Point is a two-session seminar style class that covers all the chief parts of the Lutheran Catechism as well as addressing 8 key questions every human asks when looking at themselves in this world. We have a great group signed up already for these two sessions and would welcome any last minute additions. Please just send me a direct message here on Facebook and let me know if you plan to attend! Our first session begins at 11am and concludes at 3pm this Sunday (August 23rd). Our second session will fill the same time frame the following Sunday (August 30). SUNDAY BIBLE STUDY & SUNDAY SCHOOL RETURN SEPT. 20TH - Our regular opportunity to dig into God's Word together to deepen our faith and apply it to our daily life - September 20th (after Labor Day & after our special outdoor service and Color Carnival on September 13th), we will begin regular Adult & Teen Bible Study at 10:30am on Sunday after worship in our new fellowship hall. At the same time, Sunday School will take place for children 4k-6th grade (7th & 8th graders are encouraged to join the main Bible Study group) in the classrooms at the top of the ramp. Start planning your Sunday with worship AND Bible Study as part of the regular routine! Both of these practices are essential to keeping your faith healthy and strong to face all the challenges and opportunities of each week! As a little teaser for Sunday Bible Study, I have attached a short video recapping what Bible Study is all about and specifically, the study we will jump back into on September 20th, "The Meaningful Life." God bless you all and may God bless our time in His Word together! - Pastor Titus Buelow
