Measured to Function

from The DCC Podcast · host Dayspring Christian Center

This week, Bishop Rodgers teaches on a new topic, "Measured to Function" from Romans 12:3-5. Our bodies are the temple of God and we are to carry out a specific function, which is our reasonable service, in the body of Christ. A believer's consecration to God and one's transformed lifestyle is demonstrated in exercising our spiritual gifts in the church.  The gifts we (believers) have is because of the God's grace. God has given each believer faith to serve Him. This means we are to serve in the function which we were empowered to do. Believers are "obligated" to serve for the benefit of the other members and the body as a whole. This begins with us asking two questions: (1) Who am I (in Christ) and (2) What am I doing? We have to be honest with ourselves. If we lie to ourselves, we will never be delivered and do what God has called us to do.  We pray as you listen to this powerful message, you will examine yourself and have a clearer understanding of who you are in Christ and start doing the work He called you to do! If you prayed the prayer of salvation with us, please text the keyword "SAVED" to 252-627-9900. We'd love to connect with you! Have a wonderful and blessed week.
