Media Coverage of the Saban v. Arpaio Campaign

The Maricopa County media have failed to provide any real coverage of the Dan Saban campaign to unseat Joe Arpaio as Maricopa County Sheriff. Why is that? Why does Arpaio, who has such a terrible record of wasting taxpayer money, lawsuit losses, deaths of humans and animals, get a pass from the local media, where if he were running in any other state, he would be tossed from office?
