We talked about how he came to play such an unusual instrument, the formation of the Valencia Baryton Project, and how Haydn’s 170 compositions for it had an outsized effect on the development of Western music. Volume 3 of Treasures From The Eszterháza Palace was released in March on Naxos. In the interview Matt talked about performing at the Castle of Ribarroja del Turia.
