Medicaid Drug Reimbursement, Gender Bill Failed To Pass, Decatur Township Data Center Vote, Planned Parenthood Closes Two Indy Clinics, Notre Dame Offers Zero Tuition for Some Students

Indiana’s Family and Social Services Administration could end Medicaid drug reimbursement for qualified health centers across the state. Legislation that would have defined the words male and female in state law — and restrict birth certificate gender marker changes — failed this past session. A plan to build a four billion dollar, 130-acre data center on the southwest side of Marion County was approved Wednesday by the Metropolitan Development Commission. Planned Parenthood will close two Indianapolis clinics, leaving its Georgetown Road facility as the only local branch of the nationwide organization.
