Medically Induced Menopause

In this week's episode of Wise Women Conversations I am speaking to Doris Mounsey about her health journey and how that led her to experience medically induced menopause. I often speak about natural menopause but when you have medical conditions or treatments that result in you being in menopause prematurely things can be very different. Women in this situation often experience sudden and severe symptoms as the body has to quickly adjust to the dramatic loss of hormones. This was Doris's experience and she was left feeling lost and alone as the Drs didn't really have any solutions for her.
