PAUSE… Surrender to the gentle rhythm of your breathing, Letting it soften you, Open you, And calm you. LONG PAUSE… There may be wounds inside. Memories of old friendships, The laughter and the tears. PAUSE… See if you can see deep into the wounds, Those moments of disappointment, Sadness, Anger, And fear.  PAUSE… Now as you breathe, See if you can imagine a soft light coming down upon these memories, Covering these wounds, And slowly, With every single breath, Healing them.  PAUSE… Forgiveness rises within you. For them, And for yourself.  As you let the wounds heal, And let the pain go.  LONG PAUSE… Feel the love and the tenderness that’s here. The understanding, And appreciation.  And feel as space opens up, As heaviness dissolves away.
