Meditation is not quieting the thoughts, it's ghosting them.

from Your Daily Devotional: GoOD Mornings with CurlyNikki

Listen for the Me behind the me.  The Silent I  behind the speaking I.  Being aware of that is the greatest practice. Thoughts don't interrupt your meditation. They never have.  They never distract You.  They have no power over You.  They're not calling bad things in, or calling good things to you.  They're just happening.  Just like that breath is happening. Just like that heartbeat is happening.  Just like those sensations are happening.  Just like this voice is happening,  those thoughts are happening,  apparently.  This Love IS,  and all of that is happening in This.  In this Fullness,  that's voicelessly telling you to trust, and to relax, and to give thanks,  All One energy--  when you trust, you're relaxed,  and when you're relaxed, you're thankful,  and when you're thankful, everything is fulfilled.  I Love you, Nik [email protected] "You are not here to be sad. You are not here to blame. You are not here to be miserable. You are not here to worry. You are not here to show off. You are not here to get stressed out. You are not here to get irritated and irritate others. Feeling and experiencing infinity within this finite body, living timelessness within the time span of life - this is what you are here for. When we get in touch with the source of life, then all other tensions and worries fall off; we can sing, dance and be happy. Life can become very intensely joyful. I tell you, deep inside you is a fountain of bliss, a fountain of joy. Deep inside your center core is truth, light, love, there is no guilt there, there is no fear there. Psychologists have never looked deep enough." -Ravi Shankar Support the show Beginning Aug 7, 2023 - 'GoOD Mornings with CurlyNikki' will host pre and post roll ads within the back catalogue.
