You're not home, you're back home. In the same twin bed you slept in during high school, watching the same trees dance in the wind, the same shadows play on the same hardwood floors you played on, talked on the phone in circles on, those floors have witnessed you.And now you kneel on them. You pray on them, whispering down toward them, you walk in tight circles on them, not on a call, but as a form of meditation, feeling God's Love in every step. Calling His Name with every step. 4:30am spiritual practice, done. Kid drop off, done. Fatigue, on lol. I told myself I'd nap before coming here to be with you, but the legs walked to the studio. They walked to the door behind the microphone, and the left hand rose to pull back the black curtain. The ocean was seen. The rising sun was seen. The spark of inspiration came. Love wrote this one first. Then, this body spoke it. This body will enjoy an espresso now, and probably still nap lol. I love you!

Remember that game, Pin the Tail on the Donkey? Where you’d be blindfolded and spun until you were dizzy and disoriented, and expected not to miss? Expected to hit the mark? In the dark. In the noise. In the confusion.You’re blindfolded right now. You’ve been spinning for decades. But you just heard this message. This Voice. This Sound. STAND STILL. You’re steadying yourself. Reclaiming your balance. Reclaiming your center of gravity. You are removing the blindfold now. The Sun was already out. The Son had never left. It was Me that stilled the motion.
