So close your eyes,  And let your body settle, And release everything from your mind. It’s your turn to surrender to the night. Notice the energy pulsing through your body. It wants to keep you awake. PAUSE… Like a child, it wants to keep playing, Wants to stay in the motion of the day. And like a parent, it’s time to put her to sleep. With tenderness, With patience, And with love. LONG PAUSE… Imagine the motherly hand, Laying itself upon your back.  Her warm energy melts into your skin, Relaxing you, Calming you. PAUSE… Go to sleep now, my love,  She whispers gently in your ear. The day is done, And it’s time to let sleep restore you. PAUSE… You’re safe here, And surrounded by love, So let go, Let go, Let go. The rhythms of the night will rock you to sleep. LONG PAUSE… Feel her soothing hand slowly graze your skin, And soften you with her touch. Feel her hand on the crown of your head, And then your cheeks, And settle upon your chest.  PAUSE… Breathe… And let yourself go. PAUSE… Feel her tender touch slowly sweep your left arm, Your right arm, And circle your beautiful belly.  PAUSE… Breathe again, Deeper and deeper, Softer and slower. Feeling the calming, comforting touch of Mother Sleep. PAUSE… Feel the warmth of her touch slowly glide down your back, Down,  Down, Down. And then gently soften your right leg, Your left leg, And settle upon the curves of your feet. LONG PAUSE… She covers you now,  The gentle blankets of sleep. Sink into her and let everything go. PAUSE… She’ll restore you now, So you can live again, Full, Vibrant, And whole.   Sweet Dreams, Beautiful. 💗💗💗 Check out all the deals from our incredible sponsors here! --> https://womensmeditationnetwork.com/sponsors 💗💗💗 Check out all of our other podcasts at https://womensmeditationnetwork.com Learn more about your ad choices. This Impact Studios production is a collaboration with the Governor family, UTS Faculty of Law and Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education and Research. The Last Outlaws teamKatherine Biber - UTS Law Professor and Chief InvestigatorAunty Loretta Parsley - Great-granddaughter of Jimmy Governor and the Governor Family Historian Leroy Parsons - Governor descendant, Narrator and Co-WriterKaitlyn Sawrey - Host, Writer and Senior ProducerFrank Lopez - Writer, Managing Next Generation Energy Systems Cambridge University Background Stakeholders working with energy systems have to make complex decisions formulated from risk-based assessments about the future. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
