Carve out a space of tranquility and calm, Lean into its peace as you begin.   PAUSE… Call to mind your unspoken thoughts, The things you choose not to say. The time has come to honor them, To set them free in some way.    PAUSE… Sometimes it’s best to hold our tongue, And other times, it doesn’t serve us. Either way, those thoughts build up, When wrapped in silence and never discussed.   PAUSE… You deserve the chance to process them, To decide what matters or not. You’re worthy of being listened to, Even if you’re the only one taking part. PAUSE… If you’ve bottled up hurts or silenced opinions, For fear of their consequences, It’s time to pull them out into the light, To look at them through new lenses.   PAUSE… Wash away fears you did anything wrong, Rid yourself of that concern. Examine the truth you were responding to, Take in the lessons you’re meant to learn.   PAUSE… Turn your attention to the feelings themselves, The triggers and responses alike. Take pride in your humanity and passion, Your caring nature is nothing to hide.   PAUSE… If you didn’t feel deeply, you wouldn’t be you, And the world would feel the loss. But that same world often pens you in, Makes you censor yourself and withdraw.   LONG PAUSE… You have the right to free expression, A space for the authentic you. You may have to build that place from scratch, An inner retreat that will keep your heart true.   PAUSE… Visit this space regularly. Use it to clear your heart and mind. Make it habit in your every day, To check in and see what you find.   PAUSE… The compromises can escape detection, Pain can hide beneath ordinary acts. Sometimes we don’t know until we look, Just how much others’ voices distract.   PAUSE… So make your voice the clearest of all, Listen hardest when your gut flags you down. You may not be able to change the world right now, But you can change what influences you allow.   PAUSE… Take very good care of you, kind one, Watch over yourself as you must. Make use of the haven that exists within, And remember you’re the one you can trust.   Namaste, Beautiful 💗💗💗 Check out all the deals from our incredible sponsors here! --> https://womensmeditationnetwork.com/sponsors 💗💗💗 Check out all of our other podcasts at https://womensmeditationnetwork.com Learn more about your ad choices. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
