My daughter’s eyes are heavy, Yet still glisten with life. PAUSE… My lips touch her warm skin, And as I pull away,   I whisper… I love you, just as you are. LONG PAUSE… She smiles tenderly and pulls me into her. And the words continue to emerge. PAUSE… You are whole and perfect just as you are. You don’t have to do anything, Or be anything other than you. And just because you’re you… I love you. PAUSE… She melts, The way you do when your soul is open and aligned, And I wish this moment, This feeling, Will embed itself in the fabric of her life. PAUSE… And I wish this moment, This feeling, Upon you tonight. Breathe with me now. Feel the air calming your body, And easing your mind. As you float on the rhythm of your breath. PAUSE… Breathe… And come inside, Away from the thoughts, Away from the day, Away from it all. PAUSE… Melt into your bed, And invite your breath to soothe you, To calm you, To slow you down. LONG PAUSE… Know you are loved. Just because you are you. PAUSE... You don’t have to prove yourself. You don’t have to pretend, You are whole and perfect,  Just as you are. PAUSE… Feel the soft blanket of love fall upon you tonight, As you rest deeply in this truth.
