Meet Casting Director David Guglielmo

David Guglielmo is a producer, writer, director, and casting director based in NY and LA. In five years he cast approximately 50 feature films, fast-tracking his induction into the prestigious Casting Society of America. His titles include the highly acclaimed ensemble-piece THE STANDOFF AT SPARROW CREEK (TIFF Premiere), the crime drama SOUTH OF HEAVEN starring Jason Sudeikis, and the Venice Film Festival premiering RUN HIDE FIGHT. As Head of Casting for the legendary horror brand, FANGORIA, he brought worldwide visibility to their slate with veteran actors such as Stephen Lang (VFW) and Guy Pearce (THE SEVENTH DAY) in starring roles. For television, he recently completed THE PENDRAGON CYCLE, a seven-episode series which took him to Europe for an expansive international talent search. His ability to work with actors and strong agency relationships make him a go-to Casting Director in the industry, but it’s his knowledge of film financing, development, production, and distribution which set him apart, and has been integral in his career as a Producer, which includes recent titles such as MUZZLE, an action/thriller starring Aaron Eckhart, and the festival and critical darling THE LAST STOP IN YUMA COUNTY. As a writer/director, he made two back-to-back thrillers, NO WAY TO LIVE and HOSPITALITY, which were released one year apart to positive reviews and are available on all VOD platforms.
