Meet Eeyore: The Sweet Cat with a Grumpy Face and a Big Heart

Don’t let Eeyore’s grumpy face fool you... this 5-year-old domestic shorthair is a total sweetheart once he warms up. He is our Pet of the Week and came to the Connecticut Humane Society from local animal control and was a bit timid at first, but now he’s showing just how much he loves people and pets. Eeyore is looking for a calm home, ideally with kids over 12, where he can take his time to adjust and settle in. While he hasn’t had much experience with other pets, he may enjoy having a furry friend. Eeyore does have some special needs, but he has so much love and companionship to offer the right family.
