Emily is an animator by day, and spends her free time with her two children, caring for her mother and working on new quilt designs. As she helps care for her mother, who has Alzheimer's, Emily is more grateful than ever to have quilting in her life. She has realized the importance of having a skill or a hobby you can turn to in hard times and feels passionate about reaching others with her love of quilting. Emily and Amanda dig into the importance of quilting out in public and being willing to talk about quilting as a way to make sure more people learn about it and know it still exists.
