REBEL MYNDZ- ENA ALESE : WRITING MY OWN STORY, BUILDING SPACE FOR OTHERSEmbracing Every Chapter—Poet, Author, Publisher, MotherAs the founder of Rebel Myndz Publications, my personal brand is rooted in authenticity, creativity, and fearless self-expression. For me, being a mother, a writer, and a publisher are not competing identities—they flow together, each adding dimension and purpose to my journey. My mission is to create a bold space for writers, especially those in Erotic Romance and other often-overlooked genres, where no one has to dilute or hide their voice to be seen.I named my brand Rebel Myndz because a rebel lives life on their own terms, unapologetically. I want my children—and my readers—to know you don’t need external validation to be true to yourself. I started publishing to distribute my own work, but the vision from the start was bigger: to empower creatives to own their narratives.Writing as Legacy and LiberationMotherhood didn’t shift my desire to write, but it deepened my commitment to leaving a meaningful legacy. I hope my children see, through my example, that they can remain true to themselves, whatever they pursue. I dream of publishing children’s coloring books one day—another layer to my creative life.My writing spans genres, but Erotic Romance is closest to my heart. It’s in that fearless exploration of intimacy and fantasy that I find both liberation and connection. Through horror and dark fiction, I channel my shadow self, constantly fueled by passion and possibility. Every piece I write, from “Intimate Intellect” to “Awkward Silence,” is a raw reflection of who I am and the world I come from—one that taught me determination and resilience. From Projects to PlatformsGrowing up with struggle made me hungry for impact. While my first attempt was to create opportunities for indie erotic writers, I soon realized my voice had many homes: in blogging, journalism, and supporting fellow creatives. A Writer’s Playground allows me to blend my love for music, literature, and stories that matter.Building Community, Breaking BarriersCommunity is everything—whether it’s nurturing my children’s independence or creating space for underrepresented writers to shine. Pursuing entrepreneurship (with roots in my Business Administration studies) has challenged me, especially with the ups and downs of book marketing. But I push forward, driven by joy and the belief that dedication beats fleeting motivation.Mentors, educators, and even setbacks have shaped my evolution. I’ll never forget earning my place on the Dean’s List and discovering the strength my journey required. Influential guides like Dr. Timogi lit a path toward greater achievement and embodied what it means to lift others as you climb. What Drives My Creative FlameMy hope for women and mothers: You can do this. Growth is hard, but never impossible. Write your truth, even if it’s one sentence at a time—progress is progress. I believe in faith, personal power, and contributing to a community that helps each other shine. My future dreams include transforming stories for television and further amplifying the voices of creatives. If I’m remembered for anything, I hope it is for providing space and support for others to step into their own power, just as I have.A Last WordMy wish is for every reader, and especially my children, to know: Go after your passion in life. You don’t have to play small. Share your story—there’s strength in being boldly, unapologetically you.Follow more of my journey and connect with the Rebel Myndz community.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/times-square-billboard-author-spotlight--6930236/support.
