ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Kelley Armstrong believes that experience is the best teacher, even though she has been told that this shouldn't apply to writing her murder scenes. In order to craft her books, she has studied aikido, archery, and fencing, even though she admits to not being very skilled at any of them. In addition, she has crawled through very shallow cave systems and climbed halfway up a mountain before deciding to turn back. However, she does consider herself an expert coffee drinker and a true connoisseur of chocolate chip cookies.
