Meet Nebraska football newcomer Kwazi Gilmer, who’s talking about dawgs, cats, the weather and QBs

Nebraska football is nearly two-thirds of the way through its spring football practice season. On Wednesday, we heard from coach Matt Rhule, assistants Daikiel Shorts and Addison Williams and Huskers Jamir Conn, Donovan Jones and Kwazi Gilmer. Gilmer, the UCLA transfer at wide receiver, is fun. His presence rates as a plus for Nebraska. We review Gilmer’s media session.  Rhule continued with his subdued approach to the spring. He said the quiet part out loud on Wednesday – that the Huskers are simply looking to “float under the radar” this month. Connor and Mitch discuss this strategy and weigh in on the Q&A periods with Shorts and Williams, who coach perhaps the two most stacked areas on this football team in 2026. Also, the Big Ten tournament opener is getting close for Nebraska basketball. Join us.  Everydayer Club  If you never miss an episode, it’s time to make it official.
