MEET THE CANDIDATE: ANNETTE M BLACKWELL FOR MAYOR OF MAPLE HEIGHTS, OHIO

Today is a great day! As other community's struggle to find good leaders, Maple Heights is lucky. This community is very fortunate to have a young lady, who is a powerhouse to step up and stand up to help the city move forward. Annette M. Blackwell is an 18 year resident of Maple Heights; she's a mother of three and grandmother of four. Candidate Blackwell and Mr. Blackwell hold strong family values. Their youngest daughter, Cyan is a stellar student at Maple Heights City Schools. In addition to this, Candidate Blackwell is the Parent Academy Coordinator of the parent skill- building program at Maple Heights City Schools. Intimately, she knows the struggles of some of the families living in this community. Candidate Blackwell is a successful business woman, working in corporate America. For the last 15 years, she has worked for some of the biggest accounting and tax firms in the world, including Deloitte & Touche. Candidate Blackwell understands the importance of senior, youth and city services. Her priority is a city that is fiscally responsible and one that knows how to balance the city’s budget.
