Meet the Co-Founder of the "Girls in Wonderland" Festival for Queer Women

Imagine 15,000 women convening for pool parties, dancing, and connecting in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It's "partying with a purpose," says event co-founder Yesi Leo, an activist who's been creating safe, fun spaces for women to mix and mingle for decades. Meet Yesi on The Goddess Power Show with Elizabeth Ann Atkins®, as she talks about the importance of events like this, especially in Florida where the social and political climate has been anti-LGBTQ+ with the "don't say gay" law and attacks on the drag community.Yesi says everyone is welcome at Girls in Wonderland, and if you're traveling solo, you can volunteer to get in the mix and find your tribe. It's a wild weekend of having fun, making friends, and celebrating!
