Brian Franklin is the Co-Founder of Vows & Speeches, a company that provides writing and delivery coaching for wedding vows, speeches/toasts, ceremonies, presentations, and other events.  He is also a public speaker and working on his first book, Engaged: Things I Learned About Love by Interviewing Engaged Couples and Their Wedding Party Speakers.Prior to Vows & Speeches, Brian was previously a nationally recognized political strategist and advertising consultant, as well as a former professional singer-songwriter/guitarist and the host of the podcasts, “Achievements & Strategies” and “The Vows & Speeches Podcast”. As a Reverend in the Church of the Latter Day Dude, he’s married three couples who remain together to this day.He’s been featured in The New York Times, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, Forbes, The New York Post, Billboard, Brides, Bridal Guide, The Knot, Dallas News, Politico, Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel, Miami Herald, and many more.Signed (for a brief period) to Mercury/Polygram in the mid-90’s, he has written over 150 songs, was once named the Miami New Times’ Best Acoustic Performer, and has collaborated and/or performed with Diane Ward, Dean Fields, Fernando Perdomo, Alex Woodard, Matthew Sabatella, Harry Hochman, Kylie Miller, and many more.His collaboration with Rob Elba on the rock opera “Hearing Damage (The Rat Opera)” was called “a masterpiece” by the Broward/Palm Beach New Times and “not unlike The Who’s Tommy performed by the Pixies.”As a political consultant, he and his company, Impact Politics, won major campaigns across the country, including minimum wage in FL, medical marijuana in FL, as well as ballot amendments in CA, NM, and CO. They are 4-time Pollie award winners of “Best Overall Internet Campaign” by the American Association of Political Consultants, for which Brian was also a Board Member for ten years.A writer by trade, Brian continues to do speechwriting & speech-editing not only for politics, but also for personal and corporate events.
