Dr. Phelps is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator and a Certified Academic Clinical Nurse Educator. Her professional experience spans intensive care, cardiac care, pediatrics, medical-surgical nursing, and nurse management. She is actively involved in professional organizations, including Sigma Theta Tau International and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, and contributes to nursing scholarship through publications and conference presentations.
