Meet TVC Chairwoman Laura Koerner

Today we wrap up our 'Meet the Commissioner' series with a chat with Laura Koerner, Chairwoman of the Texas Veterans Commission. Previously we talked with Vice Chairman Kevin Barber, Commissioner Kimberlee Shaneyfelt, Secretary and Commissioners Mary Lopez Dale and Mike Hernandez. Appointed by the Texas Governor, these five people are dedicated to helping Texas veterans, their families and survivors. All of our commissioners are veterans, with most joining the military, right out of high school. Laura Koerner chose the Navy route.
