There are Five Commissioners on the Board of Texas Veterans Commission. All were appointed by the governor, and all are veterans. You are going to meet every one of them. Laura Koerner is Chairwoman, Kevin Barber is Vice Chair, Kimberlee Shaneyfelt, Secretary, and the two newest members who were appointed in 2020, Vietnam veteran Mike Hernandez and Army veteran Mary Lopez Dale.
