In reality though why should you attend a meeting? Most of us will agree that a meeting will help but help you with what? Meetings can help with social skills, give you hope, encourage you, convict you, it can take you further than you can go on your own. Yes, we know that some can recover on their own without ever going to a meeting and we also know that some need to go to a rehab and we know that some can become addicted to meetings.
