MEG 2: THE TRENCH (2023) Movie Reaction! | First Time Watch! | Jason Statham | Wu Jing

Ashleigh & Vivian continue their journey with Meg 2: The Trench, diving back into giant-shark chaos as a deep-sea research mission uncovers new prehistoric threats lurking beneath the ocean floor. As the action escalates from underwater danger to large-scale creature mayhem, the sequel embraces bigger spectacle, faster pacing, and creature-feature fun. This continued reaction stands out for its over-the-top set pieces, monster action, and sequel escalation, as Ashleigh & Vivian react to every wild reveal, giant attack, and absurd survival moment in real time. Directed by Ben Wheatley (Free Fire, Rebecca, High-Rise, Kill List, Sightseers), the film stars Jason Statham (Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, The Expendables, Crank, The Transporter, Wrath of Man), Wu Jing (Wolf Warrior, The Wandering Earth, The Battle at Lake Changjin, SPL, Shaolin), Cliff Curtis (Fear the Walking Dead, Avatar: The Way of Water, Sunshine, Live Free or Die Hard, Training Day), Shuya Sophia Cai (Somewhere Only We Know, Chinese family dramas, Meg franchise, youth television roles, international features), and Page Kennedy (The Meg, Blue Mountain State, Weeds, Rush Hour, S.W.A.T.), bringing together a cast connected to action franchises, international blockbusters, and creature-feature spectacle that continues to attract strong reaction and popcorn-movie audiences. ___________________________________________________ We've got merch!
