Meg Stalter’s Emmy Statue Moment | Spokane News

Meg Stalter stunned the 78th Emmy Awards in a full-body gold Emmy statue costume, celebrating her first-ever nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for “Hacks.” The comedian, who also debuted on Broadway this summer in “Oh, Mary!,” stunned fans with her bold style — including a viral Critics’ Choice Awards fashion spoof with co-star Paul W. Downs. Downs recalled how she nearly believed her Emmy nod was a prank — so thrilled she couldn’t believe it. Meanwhile, “Hacks” itself shattered records with 24 nominations in one year — the most ever for a comedy series — beating “The Bear” and “The Studio.” A night of wild creativity, historic wins, and unforgettable moments.
