Megalopolis (2024)
from How Have You Not Seen Hosted by Carson Betts and Caroline Thompson
Welcome to a brand NEW YEAR of How Have You Not Seen, a podcast people can dream about! We're made of megalon and love bay-bee!! This week we start the new year by considering what has come before.... in 2024. Carson introduces Caroline to Francis Ford Coppola's decades-in-the-making, bluntly philosophical, tragicomic passion play Megalopolis! Is this a beautiful and richly experimental swan song from one of American cinema's all time greats - or - the incomprehensible ravings of a powerful wine magnate who refuses to be told no?? (it's both, the answer is that it's kinda both) This week's important questions; Her name is Wow Platinum? No but for real, is this movie good or bad or what? On the George Lucas scale, how self indulgent is all this? -and- What is that?
