Mekhi Williams Commits to Wisconsin

Four-star cornerback Mekhi Williams just flipped his commitment to Wisconsin over Florida State, shocking the college football world — and it’s a huge win for the Badgers. After months of intense pursuit by Wisconsin assistants Robert Steeples and Paul Haynes, Williams, a standout from Lennard High School in Ruskin, Florida, made the move official live on CBS Sports College Football. Ranked as high as No. 107 overall by 247Sports, Williams is one of the nation’s top prospects and chose Wisconsin over LSU and Nebraska. A dominant freshman with 33 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 4 pass breakups last season, he also earned MVP honors at an Under Armour Next camp. This commitment boosts Wisconsin’s 2027 class to 17 players, making Williams the first cornerback pledge and the seventh four-star recruit. He’s also Wisconsin’s highest-rated Florida recruit ever and plans to enroll early in January. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
