Mekhi Williams Commits to Wisconsin

Mekhi Williams, a top defensive back from Florida, just flipped his commitment to Wisconsin over Florida State — and he did it live on CBS Sports College Football. After an official visit and weighing offers from LSU and Nebraska, Williams chose the Badgers, where he’s poised to make an immediate impact with his 33 tackles, 15 solo stops, 2 interceptions, and 4 pass breakups last season. His commitment is a major boost for Wisconsin’s 2027 class, which now stands at 17 players and is shaping up to be one of the program’s strongest in years.
