Unter diesem Pseudonym erschien im Jahr 2000 eine Abhandlung in deutscher Sprache mit dem Titel " Die syro-aramäische lesart des Koran  Koran - Ein  Ein Beitrag zur Entschlüsselung der Koransprache." Christoph Luxenbergs Arbeit basiert auf der Annahme, dass bei Abschriften des Koran in dessen Frühzeit, Auslassungen, Ergänzungen, Umdeutungen, willkürliche oder intendierte Veränderungen gemacht wurden. Erst dadurch seien so viele Stellen im Koran unverständlich geworden. Christoph Luxenberg is the pseudonym of a scholar of the Qur’an. Under this pseudonym, a treatise in German was published in 2000 entitled “The Syro-Aramaic Reading of the Qur’an – A Contribution to the Decipherment of the Language of the Qur’an”. Christoph Luxenberg’s work is based on the assumption that, in early copies of the Qur’an, omissions, additions, reinterpretations, and arbitrary or deliberate alterations were made. It is only as a result of this, he argues, that so many passages in the Qur’an have become incomprehensible.
