Mel and Brad Parr Part 1 - Arrival, Impressions, Site trips, Impact of 12 hour shifts and redundancies

In this podcast Mel and Brad Parr, in conversation with Lisa Rickert,  recall their journey to Newman in January 2012 - Mel via the plane from Leinster and Brad driving via Wiluna. They describe their first impressions and recall the site trip before they moved, where they were shown around the town and were given a few houses to select from. Brad was also given a site tour. They also discuss the significance of the introduction of 12 hour shifts and the redundancies   and the impact it had, especially on the sporting teams.
