from Beernuts Productions Podcast Hosted by Beernuts Productions
gough is thrilled to welcome to the podcast studio Melanie Hayward, an actress, writer, producer, director, just an all-around filmmaker and film lover. Melanie starts off by telling us about where the love of film came from for her, then tells us about some of the amazing projects she's made over the years, both as an actor and writer/producer etc. Melanie also talks about film festivals and why she loves not just entering her work in them, but attending them as a film nerd. She also chats about the community element of the film industry and how anxious she gets while one of her projects is being screened. Melanie also gives some great advice on filmmaking and how to get by on low budgets and how important it is to learn on the job. Melanie also talks about the work she has done for Beernuts Productions over the years, plus she is also a great cook……..just saying.
