Melanie Madden, Forgiveness/Grudges

from The Odyssey Storytelling Podcast

Melanie Madden's biggest grudge is more than 30 years old, and involves wrongs that are perhaps impossible to forgive. Two years ago, she took the stage at Odyssey's "Forgiveness/Grudges" show to talk about her personal journey of healing through confrontation, and how she was able to offer, if not complete forgiveness, at least something reasonably close. From Melanie's Odyssey bio: Melanie Madden is an essayist and poet from Barstow, California who is an academic advisor by day and a storyteller by night. She currently serves as the chair of the storytelling committee for, and regularly performs with, FST! Female StoryTellers. This episode was performed and recorded in front of a live audience at The Screening Room in Tucson, AZ, on September 1st, 2016, and was curated by Molly McCloy.
