Melora Fern's Trombone-Playing Grandma Inspires Her 1920s Debut Novel

You're going to be captivated by Melora Fern's book, Whistling Women and Crowing Hens, which is set in the wild and wonderful 1920s on the Chautauqua Circuits. Melora shares the most intimate and special story about how she found a box of mementos that proved her own grandmother was a whistling, trombone-playing woman on that circuit!
