At the traditional Cattle Market held every Tuesday, and Friday there is a farmers market, again held in the Cattle Market – on both days you will find a fantastic cheese stall selling a wide range of British cheeses and local products run by The Melton Cheeseboard is in heart of the traditional market town of Melton Mowbray, famed for Stilton cheese and pork pies. We currently stock around 120 different cheeses. they positively welcome customers who are interested in cheese and we are always happy to provide a taster before you buy. A family business, run by husband and wife Tim and Lyn Brown, with the part-time assistance of daughter Emma and son William, and three invaluable colleagues, Linda, Paula and Karen. Our nephew, Jack, has now also joined us, as our new Saturday boy. Melton Mowbray is a small market town, famous for its Stilton and pork pies, but there is so much more to enjoy.
