Memories from 1950 of the Ancient Texan

Just a little trip down memory lane, back to 1950.   A few events that I remember when I was three.   In those days, there wasn't much time spent in sympathizing or feeling sorry for ourselves.  We simply got on with the next event, the next day.   Nearly get run over by a train, or going through a windshield, or getting attacked by the neighbor ... well we just took it in stride.
