Memphis Trip: Week One with Ross Johnson, Harry Koniditsiotis (901 Comics) and Brian McCabe (The Hi-Tone)

Host J.D. Reager previews part one of a two-week, action-packed trip to Memphis. First he talks to musician and purveyor of fine collectibles Harry Koniditsiotis about the 5th anniversary celebration for 901 Comics, which J.D. will be a part of on June 5th. Then J.D. presents the world premiere of a new song called "Philanderer," which features guest lead vocals by the Baron of Love himself, Ross Johnson. After that, Ross gives his best sales pitch for their show together at the Hi-Tone, also on June 5th. To close the show, J.D. talks to Hi-Tone owner Brian "Skinny" McCabe about the challenges of keeping the venue open during the pandemic, the features and upgrades at the new location at 284 N. Cleveland, and his early history in the music business.
